Things have been a little hectic the past two weeks so I'm sorry that I haven't updated this sooner... But for all who don't know, Logan is here!
He was born on December 11, 2008 at 5:47 p.m., was 20.5 in. long and weighed 7 lb. 15 oz.
We've taken so many pictures that it's impossible to put them all on the blog, but I've uploaded a bunch of them to an online album.
Eric and I are still working on the best way to share photos with everyone, but at the moment this is the quickest and easiest way for me to do it.
It was so great to have Eric here for Logan's birth, and I'm so thankful for being able to spend the past couple of weeks together. We really are a family now and I've honestly never been happier.
Things are about to get more difficult for all of us as Eric prepares to deploy to Iraq and everyone goes back to work and school. Logan and I will hold down the fort here at home and spend tons of time together - we'll be able to read and play and bond :) I'll also be finishing my certification coursework so I can start teaching in the fall. I don't remember if I shared the news or not, but I passed my content certification test, which means that I'm knowledgeable enough in the various content areas to teach math, science, English, and social studies in grades 4-8.
So... We'll be keeping busy here, but I'll do my best to keep everyone updated on Logan and his milestones as they happen, and I'll continue to post new pictures of him. He's such a cute little boy, there definitely won't be a shortage of pictures of him ;)
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I'll write more soon, I promise! Take care :)

Well, I know everyone has been anxiously awaiting news on Logan... I went to the doctor this morning and my induction has been scheduled! December 11th at 8:00 a.m. However, the problem is my doctor isn't sure if Logan will hold out for that long. Apparently I'm already 1-2 cm dilated so there's no telling how that will change over the next 8 days. Anyways, I just wanted to share that news... Logan will be here in no more than 8 days! :)
