New pictures of Logan :)

Eric and I went to get a 3D/4D ultrasound today and here are some of the pictures that we got of Logan! (We got a 20-minute DVD as well with video footage of him moving, but I don't think I can post that on here.)

It was difficult to get a good picture of his face because he had his arm and hand in front of it almost the whole time, but he did cooperate a little bit and let us see him finally :)

News from Texas

Well we made it! Three days on the road and we're finally in Texas. We've been here for a few days but Eric and I have both been busy unpacking and seeing family and whatnot so I haven't been able to update before now. There's not too much to tell really. I'm trying to get settled in here and Eric and I are enjoying the time we have together before he has to go back to Fort Bragg on Monday.

Speaking of pictures, I've got a couple new pictures I want to share. Darla, Scott, Kimber, and Kristi came to visit us in North Carolina not too long ago and they took some pictures when we went out to visit them in Wilmington.

Me at 26 weeks

Also, I've got an appointment on Saturday for a 3D/4D ultrasound so expect to see some more pictures (and better pictures) of Logan soon! Less than 3 months now until he finally makes his arrival :)

Quick update

We're still alive! I know it's been a while since I've written anything so I just wanted to send out this quick lil update type thing. Eric and I have both been SUPER BUSY lately and things aren't going to slow down for a while...

I'm almost halfway done with my certification course work now and I talked to a woman today about working as a substitute shortly after we get me to Texas. I can't even tell you how excited I am to be working and earning an income again!

Tropical storm Hanna didn't cause any real damage where we are. We slept through most of it and didn't even lose power. I've seen many a thunderstorm worse than what Hanna hit us with here!

Eric has been working his butt off at work, being gone from the house a good 12 hours each day. Meanwhile, I'm trying to clean up and get most everything packed since we load up the moving van on September 19th. We're also working on selling a bunch of our stuff so that we won't have to pay to move it or store it, especially since we're planning on buying some new furniture once he's out of the Army for good...

What else? Oh, we went yesterday and had a 30-minute session with a local photographer, so we should end up with at least a few really good pictures - the best of which will go out in our Christmas card this year.

Logan is growing big and strong now - I'm 26 weeks along and he's keeping me from napping and getting a full night's sleep because of all of his kicking and moving around. Being a Breece boy, I suppose he's preparing me for being tired and dealing with him later on once he's here. Maybe I'll get lucky and he'll save his daredevil days for when his daddy is around all the time to help!

There's not much else to tell at the moment. I'll update again whenever I get a chance and things have calmed down a little... Until then, everybody take care!
